FORCES (Frictional force) Part 2

This hands on experiment completely caught me off guard. I was done teaching and had already assigned seat work to my student. He was stumped with a question and asked me. Thankfully, I managed to have a glossy paper surface and quickly grabbed a marker to mark out the area. A super easy experiment!

*Step 1:

CHILD: feel the 2 different surface areas first.

– Get a dark colored marker and scribble.

– What do you notice? Which surfaces are harder/easier to write? Why?
