Today was an amazing day! I spent the afternoon at the Sunshine Old Folks’ Home, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. At first, I was nervous because I didn’t know what to expect, but the elderly residents were so friendly and welcoming. I helped serve snacks, played board games, and even listened to some of their stories about the past. One elderly lady, Auntie May, told me about her childhood, and it was so interesting! Seeing their smiles made me so happy. I realized that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. I can’t wait to go back next week and bring more joy to them. Helping others feels amazing!
