2025 PSLE SCIENCE OEQ

Skeletal & Muscular System

PSLE Science 2025 OEQ - Why You Shouldn’t Skip Any Topic for PSLE Science

Every year, I’m asked the same question — “What topics are likely to come out?”

To be honest, I don’t play the prediction game. It’s too risky and unfair to the students I guide. I’m old-school that way — I believe in teaching the entire syllabus as outlined by MOE, without cutting corners.

And guess what?

A seemingly “basic” question on the skeletal system showed up in PSLE 2025’s open-ended section. It’s been years since this topic was asked so directly, under the Systems theme.

Note: This question was adapted and referenced from the yearly PSLE Science examination papers (EPH) .

I know some centres boldly proclaim that “certain topics can be skipped” based on trends. I have no comment on that, but I will always stand by my golden rule:

Learn everything taught. Stay prepared. Stay confident.

This year’s paper is a timely reminder — even the simplest-looking topic can appear again when you least expect it.

Conclusion: Never underestimate any topic. A solid understanding of all themes ensures your child walks into the exam hall ready for anything.
