2018 – English (p1, p3)

A’s writing does need some sharpening, thus I will need to do alot of cards with different themes. We started off with character descriptions. I gave him a stack of cards and asked him to choose and pick which cards show a ‘robber’ image. He chose a few and we started brainstorming words to describe the picture.

A did a pretty good job describing them.

More practices.

U’s work. As she is in p1, there are many skills to be developed. I started with a simple mind map and drew ideas from her. I got her to write out a model essay and then challenged her to write 10 sentences on the pictures. She attempted well, sans the grammar and spelling mistakes.

Both did well under 60min of time. If time permits, am sure we can cover more!
