P3-4 English / Sept Holiday 2019 / Fun With Similes & Metaphors
English lessons can be fun too! As our focus is on creative writing, we picked the topic on “Similes & Metaphors” and turned it into a game of matching. We mixed the meaning and got our students to pair them correctly. They had fun guessing and could get most of them correct. Children indeed love some challenges to spark their lives a little. We got them to spin silly and funny stories too. Alas, time and tide waits for no man, and we could only complete half of what we wanted to do with the class. Nevertheless, our students did well!
