Same thing for my p5 girls. They got real alert and alive when it’s Investigating Task time! Sometimes the short 15-20min activities beat using the whole lesson explaining and teaching. Children indeed learn through play and hands on, and that do not limit to only toddlers and preschoolers. Children right up to 12, do like learning via play too. I just got to be flexible crafting the lesson around their needs too. And they refused to go home when time was up. Great learning attitude!
