This class has been pairing to brainstorm story ideas. We challenged them to think of their own stories for today’s lesson. With much difficulties, they did manage, although there is still a lot of room for improvement. We helped our students refine their ideas till they are acceptable for us.
They drew out their brainstorming after their ideas were accepted and presented them to one another.
Although their stories were presented, we still asked questions to our students for them to think on their feet. Some questions we asked were how to add descriptive phrases into their stories to make them more interesting.
