P3-P4 Science/20 August 2018/Monday – plant

The class learnt about parts of a plant part and it was a good recap for them. This is a mixture of P3 and P4 students. But it is not a concern for us, as we are using our flexible curriculum model that acts like a modular system for students to learn at any point of time.

We use our Investigative Task activity to guide our students to THINK & LINK what they have learnt into practice, making learning easier and more effectively for them to remember. Our girls’ interpretation of assembling the plant parts together. As the space given for students to paste the parts is small, we challenge our students to think out of the box and problem solve themselves. Both interpretations are interesting!

Finally, we went through the functions of the plant parts in details and they added extra information in their task activity sheet too.
