Some parents ask if it is effective to have different levels in the same class. We say it is possible, but only for P3 and P4. We consider this as the Lower Block, and now schools have the free hand in deciding which topics to teach. For example, some schools teach Magnets in P3 and others in P4, hence this level combination is still possible.
Hence, the lesson we taught was on Living and Non Living things. This is a new topic for the P3 and a recap for the P4, so it is a win-win combination. We believe in recapping topics intermittently to help engage our students to learn better.
Again, we did the lesson and got our boys to take notes. After which, hands on time!
Using our Investigative Task sheet, we went through the aims and objectives and the boys got down to complete their task.
We rounded off the lesson by going through what they had observed and their reflections of the activity. A necessary step for our students to think critically.
