Nov-Dec 2019 Holiday Programme – Science (Cells)

Systems – Cells

What a better way to learn about cells, using a microscope! We love to source for interesting specimen slides to show to our students, that learning about cells is not just limited to onion cells and cheek cells. Therefore, besides still teaching in accordance to the MOE syllabus, we go beyond to further expand on their knowledge. For the lesson on that day, we taught them the proper use parts of a microscope. Beside the usual plant cell that we showed our students, we even showed them parts of an insect, where the anatomy of the creature is clearly seen in its full glory under the lens of the microscope. That is, we call, that learning never stops.
