All set, all ready!
Teaching how to read the thermometer is the stepping stone for any temperate readings in experiments. Taught E how to read in 2 different temperature settings, hot and cold. Safety precautions needed to be in place when dealing with hot water. Adult supervision is needed.

E had to shade the temperature templates in the Investigative Tasks sheet after observing.

Something ‘magical’ about this cup? Watch how. It’s a good learning tool to teach heat gain and heat loss.
Another cool hand boiler activity!

I believe all children are capable of writing key notes in their learning, given the space, time and environment for this. Lovely work!
